Why the name Green Typewriter Creative?
Years ago, I found this green case in my grandmother’s closet. At first, I thought it was a vintage sewing machine, but it turned out to be a Hermes 3000 manual typewriter. I’ve had this typewriter in my apartment as décor ever since. I love that this antiquated machine helped a different generation tell stories. As the typewriter evolved into a word processor, then to a computer, and finally to a tablet, the purpose and function of these devices remain the same. They are tools to help us tell our stories. And since I am a believer in the power of stories to shape us as people and communities, it seemed like the perfect name for the company: Green Typewriter Creative.
